In Quest of India’s Freedom
Freedom means many things. It has at its
heart a love of all life. Every being on earth has the right to a life of
dignity and self-respect. It is this spirit of freedom that rose up in India in
response to the British rule. A government is to administer a country-a
government not built by kings and invading rulers, but elected by citizens of a
nation-a government ‘Of the people, by the people, for the
people’.
The mere spell
of this slogan “Jai Hindh” to inspires every one. Netaji was born in Cuttack in
Orissa on 23 January, 1897 he was organised a “Nursing Brotherhood”. He was
strongly inspired by Swami Vivekananda’s teaching. He called on Mahatma Gandhi
and expressed his desire to work for the freedom of India. Netaji coined
rousing words of salutation to our motherland-Jai Hind.
Netaji is
called “Neta”or leader. The Indian Government awarded ‘Bharat Ratna’ to him
posthumously.
